Box 1595 Polson, MT 59860 406-883-0376 www.lumen-perfectus.com BIOGRAPHY: I grew up in northeastern Ohio in the shadow of what would, in 2000, become Cuyahoga Valley National Park. As a boy I spent as much time as I could, in all seasons, hiking the trails through the hardwood forests and climbing the sandstone cliffs in areas that later became the park. My photographs are an attempt to capture, preserve, and share the world's natural beauty, perhaps bringing awareness to others of the peril in which it exists. In 2003 my wife (Pat) and I moved from a small town in Ohio to Polson, MT. Being just 80 miles from Glacier National Park's west entrance, we visit the park frequently, and also make several trips each year to Yellowstone, the Rocky Mountain Front, and elsewhere. I have worked hard at the craft of landscape/scenic photography, and also take advantage of opportunities to photograph wildlife. I love being outdoors, studying the light, composing the scene, waiting for the right moment, and capturing the shot. I find printmaking equally creative and satisfying. The image comes to life in the final framed print and as such can be enjoyed for years. ABOUT OUR PRINTS: These are archival pigment prints (often referred to as “giclée”), printed on heavy-weight fine- art or glossy papers. Prints are signed on their border or reverse side, never on the printed area. Our gallery prints are professionally framed using top-quality framing and matting materials. All papers, mats, and mount boards are are acid-free. When properly displayed these prints will last for generations. Prints purchased via our Web site are not mounted; based on size these are shipped flat or rolled in mailing tubes. When you purchase a print I hope it will bring you some of the joy and wonder I felt when I took the picture.
